MATTHEW 5:16

Bible Journal with Me This Month!
This month, I’m inviting you to Bible journal with me as we dive into Matthew 5:16.
Bible journaling is such a powerful way to connect with God’s Word and allow it to sink deep into your heart and mind. For me, journaling isn’t just about writing down what the verse says, it’s about engaging with it.
I love to highlight, underline, and circle the words and phrases that stand out to me, making the verse more personal and alive in my daily life.
Here’s how I typically approach journaling:
-
Write the verse down in my notebook, taking time to reflect on what each word means.
-
Highlight key themes or words that God is speaking to me in the moment.
-
Underline key phrases that stand out as reminders for the day.
-
Circle words or phrases that I need to remember or focus on.
Through this process, I feel more connected to the scripture, and it becomes easier to apply it to my life. I’d love for you to join me this month, using Matthew 5:16 as a guide to journaling your confidence in Christ.
Bible Journaling Matthew 5:16
Now, let’s open our Bible to this month’s verse and read it. Think about what the verse is saying to you personally. As you reflect on it, focus on shining with confidence this month.
In a world that often tries to diminish your worth, the confidence you have in Christ can set you apart. Matthew 5:16 encourages us to know that we are called to be a reflection of God’s glory in everything we do. Not just in big, bold moments, but in the simple, everyday acts of kindness, love, and service.
When Jesus calls us to be the light of the world, He isn't asking us to perform or have everything perfectly in place. Instead, He is inviting us to shine naturally, with the confidence that comes from knowing we are already enough because of His love.

He simply tells us to shine. To reflect His goodness in your everyday life. That Light doesn’t struggle to shine. It simply does.
This month, as you incorporate Matthew 5:16 into your Bible journaling, let this verse remind you that your confidence doesn’t come from how well you perform but from God's presence in you. Every day is an opportunity for you to reflect His love. The way you speak, the kindness you show, and the choices you make are all part of how you shine.
You don't have to seek attention or prove anything. You just devote yourself to letting His light flow through you naturally, without fear or hesitation.
Don't shrink back, question your worth, or second-guess what He has placed inside of you. You were created to shine with boldness. This month, walk in confidence and let your life point to the One who has already called you His own.
